Intro to Python 🐍 Analyse data faster than on Excel

In this first workshop, we will kick with an introduction to Data Analytics with Python and Pandas, building a parallel with Excel on how to create columns, summarise information and retrieve quick statistics.In the second part, examples on Pandas built-in quick plots will be provided. Additionally, we will use Seaborn to create charts and other visual information that enable us to show the answers from the analysis, in a clear and objective manner.

Insights on Data Sourcing and Analysis with PwC and IDEA Spaces

In this session, speakers from the PwC Portugal and IDEA Spaces community will be invited to present their stories, challenges and insights on data sourcing, transformation and analysis.

Get started with Data Viz in Tableau 🧑‍🎨

This second workshop will be focused on how to draw objective (the “what”) and subjective (the “how” and “why”) insights from data, performing an analysis to enable creative storytelling and provide actionable information to its consumers. Tableau will be explored to build a complete and actionable dashboard. We will import a dataset to this tool and insert relevant charts, such as profit margin by category, city and state (visualised on a map), monthly total sales by segment, among others, conjugating these elements on a fully functional dashboard!

Building Actionable Dashboards with PwC and IDEA Spaces

The final talk of the program will introduce examples and best-practices of professionals who build and monitor dashboards on a daily basis. The session will be conducted as a roundtable, starting with a brief introduction on each speaker’s background and professional experience, with time for attendees’ Q&A.
