Creating an Affirm account and seeing if you prequalify will not affect your credit score. If you decide to make purchases with Affirm, the following factors may affect your credit score: making a purchase with Affirm, your payment history with Affirm, how much credit you've used, and how long you’ve had credit.

Affirm doesn't charge any fees. That means no late fees, no prepayment fees, no annual fees, and no fees to open or close your account. Affirm loans vary between 0% and 31.99% APR with simple interest. The corresponding finance charge is the only fee associated with an Affirm loan.

When you prequalify, you get an estimate of how much you can spend with Affirm. You don’t have to use the full amount, and you’re not on the hook to pay anything back until you actually make a purchase.

Before each payment is due, Affirm will send you reminders via email and SMS that will include the installment amount that is coming up and the due date. You can also sign up for autopay so you don't risk missing a payment. Go to www.affirm.com/account. You will be prompted to enter in your mobile number where you will be sent a personalized security pin. Enter this security pin into the form on the next page and click "Sign In". You'll now see a list of your loans and payments coming up. Click on the loan payment you would like to make. You can make a payment with a debit card or ACH bank transfer.

An administrative fee of 3.5% of the amount of credit granted is charged by Le Wagon.
