If you have an idea that you just have to build, have bucket-loads of perseverance and are a little bit crazy, then you should become a founder! If you're a co-founder and CEO, you will be primarily responsible for building a product that users love, figuring out how to grow and setting the vision for the entire company.

You will usually also be the chief evangelist for the company and be in charge of pitching and raising money from investors.

They work at the intersection of business, tech and design, managing stakeholders from Sales/Marketing, Design and Engineering teams. Its primary metric of success is gauged around users and engagement.

A Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
