Do you need help with financing?

There are different ways you can finance your bootcamp.

How it works:
Pay the full balance in one go and receive a 200€ discount on your tuition fees. This is the best option if you want to use your savings and minimize the overall tuition fee.

Eligibility:
For everyone applying to Le Wagon in Belgium, you must just pay your entire tuition at the time of your enrollment to be eligible for the 200€ discount. This option is available for a payment done within 14 days after the interview and until 40 days before the start of the course.

How it works:
you will only need to pay the €1500 enrollment deposit upfront (included in the tuition fee). Once the bootcamp starts you will start paying the remaining amount to our lending partner Alma spread over 3 monthly installments. Minimal fees may apply.

Eligibility:
you must be a resident and have your debit/credit card emitted by any of the following countries: France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Ireland, or Austria.

How it works:
you are entitled to be absent from work and receive paid holidays (up to 180 hours, ~23 days) in order to follow our training through the paid educational leave system (in Dutch: ‘betaald educatief verlof’ or ‘BEV’ — in French: ‘congé éducation payé’ or ‘CEP’). Your employer cannot refuse your request for paid educational leave, but he/she has to agree with the planning of your absences.

Eligibility:
you are a full-time or part-time employee (only in specific cases) of a privately-held company based in the Flemish, Brussels, or Walloon region (or a contractual employee of an autonomous public undertaking). No age or nationality conditions apply. The program you are following does not have to be related to your profession.

How it works:
The BEE Prime Formation or Opleidingspremie (in English: ‘Training Premium’) is a measure whereby self-employed and SME employees receive financial aid of 40 to 60% of the training tuition fees from the Brussels region. The premium must be requested from the issuer before the start of the training course.

Eligibility:
for all self-employed persons, employees of SMEs or liberal professionals established in the Brussels region. The training must improve the quality, strengthening, growth, or transformation of the SME or the activity. Check the official BEE Prime Formation or Opleidingspremie website for the full conditions and step-by-step request process.

How it works:
The KMO-portefeuille (in English: ‘SME e-wallet’) is a measure whereby self-employed and SME employees receive financial aid of 20 to 30% of the training tuition fees (excl. VAT) from the Flemish region. The KMO-portefeuille must be requested from the issuer before the start of the training course. Le Wagon is a registered and eligible training provider with registration number DV.O245209.

Eligibility:
for all self-employed, employees of SMEs or liberal professionals established in the Flemish region. The training improves the quality, strengthening, growth, or transformation of your SME or activity. Check the official KMO-Portefeuille website for the full conditions and step-by-step request process.

How it works:
The Chèques Formation Wallonie is a measure whereby SME employees or self-employed receive financial aid of around 50% of the training tuition fees (VAT incl.) from the Walloon region. The Chèques must be requested from the issuer before the start of the training course. Le Wagon is a registered and eligible training provider with registration number 19/1264.

Eligibility:
for self-employed persons, employees of SMEs or liberal professionals having their main place of business in the Walloon region. The company needs to be autonomous and the training to be in its sector of activity. Check the official Chèques Formation Wallonie website for the full conditions and step-by-step request process.

How it works:
The Government of the German-speaking Community grants a BRAWO subsidy covering 1/3 of the costs, capped at €1,000 per training activity, to job-seekers, workers, employers, and self-employed individuals who embark on vocational training in Belgium or abroad. The BRAWO application must be submitted to the ministry before the start of the training course.

Eligibility:
The job-seeker must be domiciled in the German-speaking Community. The worker must have their place of work in a private sector company located in the German-speaking Community or be domiciled in the German-speaking Community. The employer introducing an application for themselves or their collaborator, the self-employed, or the holder of a liberal profession must have their headquarters in the German-speaking Community. Check the official BRAWO website for the full conditions and step-by-step request process.

How it works:
Financing your tuition fees with an installment loan from a bank or lending platform is possible, allowing you to spread the costs over several months or even years, with the consideration of additional interest expenses of a few hundred euros. Beobank for example offers you a loan at an interest rate of 5,90% TAEG. You can spread the tuition fees over 12 to 36 months, with the cost of interest. Beobank offers loan simulations in Dutch here and in French here.
For example, if you choose the 12 monthly instalments, you will repay around 600€/month and it will cost you around 215€ in interest in total. For 24 monthly instalments (2 years) of around 320€/month, around 420€ in interest. You can use Beobank's simulation tool to get an estimate and submit an online loan application.Y ou can also explore options with your own bank or other lending platforms to see what they have to offer. Lending platforms such as Mozzeno and Cetelem are other options you could check.

Eligibility:
This may vary depending on the bank's or lending platforms requirements and policies.

How it works:
Take advantage of a loan negotiated by Le Wagon with BNP Paribas. Spread your repayments over a period of up to 9 years and start repaying one year after taking out your loan (you can defer repayment for up to 5 years). Take advantage of a preferable rate (fixed APR of 2.83%).

Eligibility:
Anyone who has been accepted onto a Le Wagon training course and is a tax resident in France. No age limit. No deposit or guarantors required. Apply at least 15 business days before training begins.

How it works:
With the Cevora/Cefora Training Premium, you can get a payment/cheque of 375€ to help you finance your bootcamp. You can find all the information about the Cevora/Cefora Training Premium directly on their website.

Eligibility:
You’ve been employed during minimum 5 years in Joint Committee 200 companies. The training needs to start within the year of your departure from company. You must request your premium to Cevora/Cefora no later than three months after the last day of training.
