Presenting the Athena Scholarship

To be eligible, all Scholarship Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. 18 years or older.

2. UK Resident or have the right to work in the UK post-Bootcamp without Visa sponsorship.

3. Identify as female or non-binary.

Plus one of the below criteria:

· Identify as an ethnic minority.

· Be earning under £35k or unemployed (evidence required).

· Hasn’t attended university or received a higher education qualification.

4. Completed an application and are available to participate in the Full-Time Bootcamps from 10th July - 8th September 2023.

1. Online application with a short motivation statement. Through the form on this webpage, the motivation statement should be a few sentences or paragraphs detailing work or academic background to date, interest in tech, reasons for learning to code and why they feel like Le Wagon can help them to reach those goals.

2.  Informal, non-technical Zoom interview. 30 minutes with one of the Le Wagon Admissions team, including a Soft skills interview focusing on motivation, commitment, curiosity to learn and general interest in coding and a future in the Tech world.

3. Online Technical Quiz (45 mins - 1 hour) within 5 days of the Zoom interview taking place. Technical Assessment Phase - each of our programmes has a tailored Technical Quiz built to assess the general level of web, tech knowledge, problem solving, aptitude and logical thinking skills of applicants.

4.  Applications are reviewed within 24hrs of the Technical Quiz submission.

5. Scholarship shortlist presented to companies for final interviews May 2023.

6. Successful Scholarship Applicants announced in June 2023.
