Speak & Code Academy?

The Speak & Code Academy is a 12-month course that resulted as a combined effort of Le Wagon, Lingoda and Kiron. Each partner brings extensive knowledge and experience in coding, language and integration, respectively.
Together, we developed this new and unique program that is meant to give you the very best chances to take lead in the German-speaking Tech job market.

The next level of your career starts in Germany! Our Academy Program will teach you the Skillset you need to kickstart your tech career in Europe’s biggest economy. Everything is fully financed by the German Government in case you are entitled to a Bildungsgutschein.

Learn Programming
Get full exposure to the content of Le Wagon’s worldwide renowned Web Development Bootcamp, adapted to your own learning pace. 

Language Learning
Master the next 4 to 5 German Language levels with daily lectures from Lingoda, independent of your Entry Level. 

German Integration
Learn about German History, Culture & Society with Kiron, to understand the country you will live, work and enjoy life!

How to apply?

Start your Application Process
  • To start the application process, fill out the form on the right. Let us know who you are and why you want to take part in our course.
  • We will then set up an interview with you. 
  • After the interview, we will conduct a technical assessment as well as a language assessment with you.
Steps to get your Bildungsgutschein

In order to take part in the course, we strongly recommend applying for a Bildungsgutschein (educational voucher) at the Agentur für Arbeit (or Job Center). You are eligible for a Bildungsgutschein if you meet these requirements:

  • Be registered as a resident in Germany
  • Be registered as unemployed at the Agentur für Arbeit or Job Center
  1. As soon as you have started the application process, you can contact your Agentur für Arbeit (or Job Center) and set up an appointment

  2. Prepare a motivation letter for your job agent explaining why you want to learn to code. You can use the following questions to build your motivation letter:
    • Where have you been working before?
    • Why do you want to change your career path or why do you need the coding skills for the future?
    • Why do you want to do explicitly Le Wagon's course?
    • Where do you see yourself after the Bootcamp with your new coding skills?
