The Women’s Coding Night is our offline workshop that aims to encourage women to explore coding and step into the shoes of a Web Developer.

πŸ“Š What: The Women's Coding Night is a 1.5 hour, FREE workshop where you can learn basic coding skills and explore what it's like to be a web developer in a safe, welcoming environment.  

We will prepare some free snacks and soft drinks.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»  Who: We encourage people who identify as women to join this event. That being said, everyone is welcome to join!

What you'll learn

By joining this workshop, you'll learn how to build your first landing page using HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles. 

We'll cover:

  • HTML and CSS basics
  • Web design principles
  • CSS Grid
  • Responsive Design
  • Github basics so you can publish your landing page 

A hands-on approach

This workshop will start with a 1-hour lecture to introduce the core concepts with lots of live coding. You will then be onboarded on the Le Wagon e-learning platform where you can access the slides, a sum-up of key notions as well as exercises and quizzes. The remaining time will be dedicated to practice. Our teaching team will be there to answer your questions and guide you in your learning.
